Kitchen Nook Update

Although our kitchen always seemed like the only finished space in our home, I can never keep anything the same for long! This space needed some warmth, and that's exactly what we created. Follow the steps below to learn what we did to spruce this space up!

Before:

The Steps:

  1. First was the accent wall. We used 8 foot long 1x4's and cut them to length. The 1x4's were used to created 9 equal panels on the wall.

  2. The boards were sanded until smooth and attached to the wall with trim nails using a trim/finishing gun.

  3. Seal all seams with caulk

  4. Paint with your desired color! We used Silver Gray by Sherwin Williams. We love the green under tones this color gives! The side walls are duck white, also by Sherwin Williams.

My Favorite part of the kitchen nook update was this cutting board display we added in the corner!

We used copper split rings to hang the copper pipe, I purchased these S Hooks from Amazon, and voila! This was such an easy and fun way to update this space, and think it reflects our style perfectly.
